Set Your Course in the Right Direction!
Imagine if you can.
It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon and you’re finally sitting down to relax for a while to unwind from a hectic yet truly enjoyable weekend. You’re feeling invigorated and satisfied for you accomplished everything you set out to do. Finally as your muscles are starting to unwind your mind begins to follow them.
Suddenly the thought comes out of nowhere and it hits you like a ton of bricks.
Tomorrow is Monday.
You have to go back to work.
First the dread starts to set in. Then you feel the anxiety in you rise and you swiftly realize that the rest of your enjoyable weekend has suddenly been reduced to ruins, for all you can now think about is that tomorrow is Monday.
You know that you need a new job. You want nothing more than to get up in the morning and enjoy going to work rather than dreading that nasty intrusion in your life.
You want to feel engaged in your career again. You used to be - remember? Sure, you’ve gone on the job boards just to see what’s out there but for whatever reason, you believe there is no other choice for you but to stay where you are.
But is this really what you want?
To find career happiness, you need to find what you love to do first, and then go after the job that fits your needs. If you don’t, you’ll never achieve the satisfaction in doing what it is you do for eight plus hours each day! It’s a long time to work at something that’s unfulfilling yet pays the bills.
Changing careers and jobs can be unsettling yet we’ve all done it at one time or another. Making the transition easier for you is what I do best. I love what I do and because I do, it’s not ‘work’ to me. It’s enjoyment.
